Common Room ( Chapel)
The Common Room is located in the Chapel. This venue can be used for study, rest, relaxation etc..
Hybrid AV requirements are available for users to use for meetings etc.
The control panel for the TV is on the Right Hand Side of TV wall as you face TV. (see instructions below).

- Using the Controller on the Right Hand Side of the screen Select “Touch Screen to Begin” button to turn on TV.
- Select the input you want to use:
- "HDMI" to select HDMI Input. Plug laptop into HDMI port and you should see your laptop on screen. You can play videos, presentation, excel from this.
- Select "PC" if using the Hyrbid Technology. (Camera, microphone etc). You will need to login using your University of Galway staff id.
- Select your chosen video application Zoom or Teams, both are available through the NAL Window.
- Once you have logged into the application you wish to use, ensure that you select the correct, camera, microphone and the speaker within the application’s Audio & Video settings.
- Select "Huddly IQ" as your camera. You should see a picture of yourself when the above camera has been selected.
- Select "Dante USB REcieve (Dante USB I/O Module)" as your microphone.
- Select "SAMSUNG (Intel (R) Display Audio" as your speaker. (Note you can adjust the TV volume using the volume knob on the wall controller).
- Select "Apple TV" if using the Apple TV to connect your Apple Device (phone, table or MacBook)
- Select "SHUTDOWN" when finished.
