The state-of-the art Moot Courtroom was designed to replicate the experience of a real court hearing for students. It features a witness stand, judges bench, jury box, and senior counsel tables all made out of natural oak. The Moot Courtroom was designed primarily for Mooting modules and competitions.
Two large AV screens inputted into a tall solid unit allow for activities including hybrid video conference communication, as well as traditional single classroom instruction. The technology was designed to be a flexible AV system switching between several sources, including HD cameras and distribution to several display devices in the room. AV and control signals were extended between AV equipment at the defence and prosecution tables, lectern, judge’s bench, witness stand, and jury box.

The state-of-the art Event Hub in the Biz Hub was designed as a flexible space for hosting events which has 56 seats. It features a 98" TV on the main wall with hybrid video conference communication available. The technology was designed to be a flexible AV system switching between two camera tracking systems, one at the front and one at the back of the room, and two echo cancellation ceiling microphones, and eight speakers on the ceiling.

- Using the Controller on the Left Hand Side of the display cabinet, Press “PRESS HERE TO START” button to turn on TV.
- Select "WALL HDMI INPUT" from the controller.
- Connect USB- C cable to laptop to connect presentations, cameras and microphones for hybrid Meeting.
How to select the correct Camera, Microphone, and Speaker while using this PC for Hybrid Meetings:
- From the laptop, please double click on the application you wish to use. i.e. MS Teams or Zoom and login using your UDS creditenals.
- Once you have logged into the application you wish to use, ensure that you select the correct, camera, microphone and the speaker within the application’s Audio & Video settings.
- Select "Poly Studio E70 Video" as your camera if using the room in a meeting environment.
- Select "AVER PTC330UV2" as your camera if presenting.
- Select “Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (DMP Plus USB#1)” as your microphone.
- Select “Echo Cancelling Speakerphone (DMP Plus USB#1)” as your speaker. (Note you can adjust the speaker volume using the volume button on the wall controller).
You can share content presentations / excel sheets as normal through your chosen application. Make sure your presentation is available and ready so you can access it.

- Using the Controller on the Left Hand Side of the display cabinet, Press “PRESS HERE TO START” button to turn on TV.
- Select "APPLE TV" from the controller.
- Connect your MACBook/iPhone/iPad, to the same EduRoam Wi-Fi network.
- Open the control centre on your apple device. Select "Screen Mirroring".
- Select your Apple TV which will be the name of the theatre/room you are in.
- An AirPlay passcode will appear on the screen, enter the passcode on your iOS or iPadOS device.
- Your screen should appear on large screen in room.

- Connect USB - C cable to laptop to connect for Presentation, power, cameras and microphones in a Hybrid Meeting.
How to select the correct Camera, Microphone, and Speaker while using this PC for Hybrid Meetings:
- From the laptop, please double click on the application you wish to use. i.e. MS Teams or Zoom and login using your UDS creditenals.
- Once you have logged into the application you wish to use, ensure that you select the correct, camera, microphone and the speaker within the application’s Audio & Video settings.
- Select "Poly Studio X50 Video" as your camera if using the room in a meeting environment.
- Select “Poly Studio X50” as your microphone.
- Select "Poly Studio X50" as your speaker. (Note you can adjust the speaker volume using the volume button on the wall controller).
You can share content presentations / excel sheets as normal through your chosen application. Make sure your presentation is available and ready so you can access it.

The Collaboration Room was designed as a flexible space for students. It features a 55" TV on one wall with a meeting table for collaboration work. There are also 3 Collaboration Spaces with 5 people per space . Here you will find interactive touch displays and AV collaboration furniture.

- Using the Controller press “ON” button to turn on TV.
- Select "LAPTOP " to connect your laptop for video and audio on screen.
- Plug the laptop into the HDMI cable. The HDMI Cable is in the cubby in the desk. Pop up cubby and HDMI cable is located here.
- Select “Duplicate” mode on your laptop and your laptop should display on screen.
- Press “OFF” when finished and return HDMI to cubby in table.
- Using the Controller underneath TV press “ON” button to turn on TV.
- Select "HDMI" from the controller.
- Connect HDMI cable to laptop to connect for Presentations.
- Connect USB cable to write on presentation / document without affecting any work behind original document.
- Connect Wirelessly to the TV via screen -mirroring on the phone.
- By simply clicking the note layer button, users can enjoy smooth writing anytime, anywhere on any content displayed, without affecting any work behind the original layer.
- Users can quickly and easily select, move, crop, capture, and edit any images
- Each Image can also be merged to the roll with just one click of a button, allowing it to be edited or erased.
