ENG2052 is a large meeting room located in the Engineering Building which has a capacity of 26 people. This boardroom is equipped for hybrid meetings with a High Definition video tracking camera and a ceiling suspended echo-cancelling boundary microphone. This can be achieved using the PC located at the top of the room and your chosen hybrid software such as Zoom or MS Teams.

Using the Extron controller:

  • Select "Press Anywhere to Begin" on the controller (to turn on the TV)
  • Select "PC" on the controller to use Hybrid Equipment

How to select the correct Camera, Microphone, and Speaker while using this PC:

  • Login to your chosen Video Conferencing software on your PC.

Once you have logged into the application you wish to use, ensure that you select the correct, camera, microphone and the speaker within the application’s Audio Video settings.

  • Select "AVER CAM570" as your camera. You should see a picture of yourself when the above camera has been selected.
  • Select “Dante USB Recieve (Dante USB I/O Module)” as your microphone.
  • Select "Sony TV *30(HD Audio Driver for Display Audio)" as your speaker. (Note you can adjust the TV volume using the volume knob on the wall controller).

CAMERA SETTINGS

There are three different camera modes to select from on the control panel:

  • "Wide Shot" - This is a fixed camera shot of the room
  • "Auto Framing" - This is a framing option that will automatically adjust to the amount of people in the room
  • "People Tracking" - This option allows the camera to track the person in the room talking

AUDIO SETTINGS

  • "Ceiling Mic Mute Control" - This allows you to mute microphone if required.

SHUTDOWN

  • Press "System OFF" (to turn OFF TV when finished).

There are three different HDMI cables available to connect laptop. Please select the correct connection your laptop is connected into:

  • Select "HDMI Lecturn" and connect your laptop to the HDMI cable at the lecturn.
  • Select "HDMI Table " and connect your laptop to the HDMI cable at the center of the table.

SHUTDOWN

  • Press "System OFF" (to turn OFF TV when finished).
