Categorising Suspected Misconduct
Record the suspected category of misconduct before meeting or corresponding with the student. This supports accurate case routing and communication.
Steps
- Review the reporting staff member’s statement and uploaded evidence.
- Select Categorise Suspected Misconduct.
- Choose Intentional Misconduct (where applicable), then select the relevant category (e.g., Use of Artificial Intelligence).
- Click Submit. This records the suspected category only; the confirmed category is recorded after the Courageous Conversation.
Note: If evidence or description is unclear, contact the reporting staff member for clarification before categorising.
